Raindance AI is an independently operated photo-to-video tool. Upload one photo or two portraits, choose an outdoor scene, and add optional performance directions to create a six-second, 720p video with original generated audio.

The model we actually use

AI model: ByteDance Seedance 2 Mini (bytedance/seedance-2-mini), accessed through KIE API (api.kie.ai). Model & service details. Outputs are AI-generated.

Our server submits generation requests to the KIE jobs API at api.kie.ai/api/v1/jobs/createTask using the model identifier above. KIE is our API access and processing provider; ByteDance is the developer of the Seedance model family. We do not train or own this underlying model, and do not claim to be an official ByteDance or KIE product. Provider information is available at kie.ai.

What you receive

The service automatically creates a downloadable MP4 using your reference photos and direction. We offer one-time credit packs, with no automatic renewal. Results are synthetic, can contain artifacts, and are not evidence of a real performance or endorsement. No particular likeness, quality or commercial-use rights are guaranteed.

Safety and reporting

Before sending photos to KIE or reserving credits or free use, we submit the generation prompt to Waffo Prompt Screening with semantic enforcement. A block, review result or unavailable check stops the request. KIE's nsfw_checker is also enabled for every generation. These automated safeguards have limitations; they do not replace reports and human review.
